After a series of unfortunate events involving a lock out, a failed break in, and a jump from a 6 foot fence - Lucas is now outfitted with double casts and rockin' a wheel chair.
Things are going to be tough for the next 6 weeks as we figure out how to make life work with 2 preschoolers, a pregnant woman, and a temporary cripple. But, in the season of Thanksgiving - this injury has made me realize how much we have to be thankful for even in the midst of what is sure to be nothing short of a challenging adventure.

HOW on earth did this happen? Lucas sure looks like he is in good spirits for having two casts!
