In the morning, as the girls are stumbling down the stairs for their breakfasts, slowly but surely I hear a little sound coming from the back bedroom.
It's a sweet little noise at first; a soft little sighing. But, it gets louder and louder until it's full on giggles and laughs.
Little Harper with her big blue Ferbie eyes and her Gerber baby curls is waiting patiently for me to get her. And when I do- she giggles and smiles and sticks her cheek to my lips waiting for a kiss.
Such a wonderful way to start the day!
