A Special Kind of Love

We have a little pack of conversation questions that we keep in a bowl on our table. At lunch today, Avery wanted to do Q&A together. The question was, "if you could make up any word, what would it be and what would it mean?"

Avery wanted me to answer first, so I said my word would be "lolylina."

"What does it mean, Mom?" Avery asked, grinning.

"It's a special kind of love that a mama feels for her daughter Avery."

"Oh," she said, "well, I "bumpalina" you."

"What does that mean?"

"It's a special kind of love that a daughter feels for her mama, Diana," she said.
